Commencement Ceremony Information

Spring Baccalaureate Ceremony

The Baccalaureate Ceremonies for Spring 2013 candidates will be held on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at Radio City Music Hall.  You will have the option of being recognized at a morning ceremony beginning at 10:30 a.m., or, alternatively you may participate in an afternoon ceremony that will begin at 3:00 p.m. Both ceremonies will last approximately two hours. Seating is by reservation only. Once a ceremony has been booked to capacity, requests for tickets will be placed for the available alternative.

Invitation Eligibility

Invitations for the CAS Spring 2013 Baccalaureate are mailed to students who are candidates to graduate in Spring 2013. Only those students who are enrolled in classes in the Spring 2013 semester are guaranteed to participate in the Spring 2013 ceremony. Invitations will be mailed in early April to the permanent and local addresses on record. Please note: if you have moved or your permanent address has changed, you must inform the University Registrar as soon as possible. May candidates must have applied for graduation using Albert, by February 8 in order to receive an invitation.

If you do not receive your invitation, please verify your address at the University Registrar's Office located on the 1st Floor at 25 W. 4th Street.

Please visit the Registrar's Website for information regarding graduation application deadlines.

Tickets

Tickets must be ordered on this website from Monday, March 25 until Monday, April 22. Beginning on Monday, March 25 there will be a link on the main page that will direct students to the ticket ordering site.

PLEASE NOTE: Each student will be able to order a maximum of four (4) guest tickets online, not including the student's own ticket. An email confirmation will be sent once an order has been received.

Additional Tickets

Once the deadline to pick up tickets has passed, IF there are any additional unclaimed guest tickets, they will be put into a lottery for those students who desire more than their allotted four. There is no guarantee that there will be a lottery, but if there are unclaimed tickets and a lottery is held, students may enter for up to two additional guest tickets. In the event that a lottery is held, the odds of winning will depend upon the number of lottery participants, the number of unclaimed tickets that go into the pool, and the number of tickets each participant requests.
